Chris Conway


Chris’s family first noticed his gift when on walking down the landing of his former home, his parents heard him chatting away to someone.  Thinking he had a school friend in there with him, they opened the door to say hi, and found Chris sitting in the corner of the room talking to thin air.  When asked who he was talking to he explained that, “It’s the old man and woman that live here with us”.  On talking to the neighbours his parents found out that the woman he described did in fact live in the house at one point, and died there too.  He was just six years old.

“When I was younger I didn’t think I was very different from everyone else – I assumed everybody saw spirit”

As he got a little older he realised that his gift was indeed very unusual, and on telling only a few of his mates over the years and seeing their reactions he soon learned to keep his mouth shut and his abilities well and truly hidden away.

In his early 20’s Chris met a friend that introduced him to the world of Paranormal Investigation, this made him realise that there were others out there like him and that he wasn’t actually a little odd. 

 

“From then on I could openly speak to people about what I saw and felt and heard, they understood.  Verification soon came in, so I became more confident.  Funnily enough as a younger man I went to study psychology to see whether any of this was in my mind.  It clearly wasn’t, but I’m really analytical and tended to look for the non- supernatural answers to the things that I experienced. “

 

 

Chris classes himself as a Sceptical Psychic, rather an unusual but refreshing title.  He likes to try and work out what’s happening before he puts it down to paranormal activity. 

A clairaudient, clairvoyant and clairsentient, Chris say’s that he mainly uses his third eye when communicating with spirit.  He receives messages, images and thoughts into his mind.  He’s used his gift for many years in the name of love and light, and has cleared many a house of unwanted spirit – and even passed on messages to these house owners who have decided that the spirits should be left where they are.

“I believe in balance.  Once you get rid of all the stuff that is ‘normal’ and explainable – you’re left with that wee bit of magic”

I’ve always trusted spirit to bring opportunities to me, and they are always right.  I’m not hugely ambitious and trust spirit to lead me in the right direction and trust that they will show me the right path to take

 

Chris recently left the set of another paranormal investigation TV show to a furore of publicity, after, he quotes:

“I made the decision to leave as I felt that show and I were going down a completely different Pathway.”

On joining the Famous But Frightened team Chris had this to say:

“I’m really excited to be on board.  I feel that the production team are very much on the same wave length as me with similar goals within the genre of Paranormal Investigation.

They have re-lit the desires in me again.

I’d love to see one of our celebrities actually witnessing some sort of Paranormal Activity – to see them question everything they formally believed would be wonderful.  To see them realising that there is much more out there than just us.”   Chris Conway.
